RUSSIA – Calf Fattening Project

PBG give’s support in the construction of a calf fattening farm and counseling its operation. In phase one the farm will fatten a population of 2,500 calves. The second phase of the project, which is set to begin in the coming months, is the establishment of a 6,000-cattle herd for the supply of calves to the farm on an area of 10,000 hectares. Our company advises on the subjects of farm planning, calf fattening control, breed selection, veterinary care, calf procurement, meat quality, ongoing calf supply for slaughter, personnel, business plans and feeding management -ration’s planning, inventory management and production control. # PBG provided an Israeli manager who lives in Russia and is responsible for the overall operation of the farm.
